Decorative ceramic wall made with the Slalom special tile cutter.

The decorative wall depicting a horse was made with the special tile cutter to achieve curved cuts on any type of tile. This work is particularly interesting because not only the Slalom S63 tile cutter but also tongs and angle grinders were used to make it.

The curved freehand cut

The finishing of bends with very small diameters
The repetition of identical curves on different tiles

With this type of manual tile cutter, beautiful works can be made to embellish walls and floors (bathroom, bedroom, living rooms, entrances). Some tilers also use this cutter for making mixed flooring, ceramic and parquet for example.

The Slalom tile cutter for making curved cuts on porcelain tile is very easy to use and can be a good and inexpensive substitute for using the Water Jet. The only limitation of the Slalom cutter is that it cannot make splits on cuts with very small diameters. In this case, however, the Water Jet remains the best solution. Architects and Designers from Italy and abroad have created many works using this special Monolit cutter. Maybe one day we will also be in Vogue ? ?!
